This model kit is one of the model kit from Hasegawa “Top Scoring Aces” Series.
The kit concept is to have a high quality resin figure of the pilot ace and a model kit of the aircraft that he flew. The figure is sculpted by Master Ichiro Take of Japan who is very good at portrait figures sculpting.
Lieutenant Junior Grade Tetsuzō Iwamoto was one of the top scoring aces among Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service fighter pilots. With over 8,000 flight hours, he logged 22 victories in his military career.
